| Day 1

- Arrive in Rio de Janeiro
- Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to the Copacabana Palace.

- A glamorous icon of the city of Rio, this Orient-Express hotel has a reputation of exemplary service, superb cuisine and opulent luxury. Ever since Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers' danced together at the Copacabana Palace in the celebrated movie Flying Down to Rio, the hotel has been the place to stay when visiting Rio.
- Enjoy the afternoon at leisure. This evening, you will have dinner a Welcome Dinner at Fasano al Mare.

- Today's tour begins with a tour of Corcovado to visit the Christ Statue, which was recently elected as one of the seven modern wonders of the world. It sits 2,300 meters above sea level, atop Corcovado Hill.
- Following a scenic drive along the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, you will arrive at the foot of the hill to embark on a small train which climbs the beautiful mountain. Upon reaching the top, visitors will experience a panoramic view of Rio de Janeiro and discover why it is known as the "Marvelous City"!
- After lunch at Zozo Rio, continue on to Sugar Loaf Mountain.
- Over a million tourists a year visit the world famous Pão de Açúcar, or Sugar Loaf Mountain, which has become an iconic symbol of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Rising up from small peninsula at the entrance of Guanabara Bay, its name is said to refer to its resemblance to the traditional shape of concentrated refined sugar loaf.
- The tour is done in two steps by glass cable-cars. The first cable-car takes passengers to the top of Urca Hill, which rises 215 meters above sea level and offers spectacular views of the entire bay its islands. From Urca Hill, passengers continue in a second cable car to the top of Sugar Loaf which rises 395 meters above sea level and offers a 360 degree view of the entire city including Botafogo and Copacabana Beaches, the Corcovado and downtown Rio.

- Today's tour starts at the Burle Marx Gardens, continuing along a scenic drive of Rio de Janeiro's beaches to visit to the Museum of Burle Marx, Brazil's most renowned landscaper. The colonial building houses various precious pieces of art which include drawings of Braque and from the French architect Le Corbusier, Nordic crystals, ceramics from Vale do Jequitinhonha region, baroque saints, pre-Colombian ceramics, and many others creations. There are also drawings and pictures from Burle Marx himself.
- After leaving the house of Burle Marx, head to Casa do Pontal Museum. Set in a house, the museum presents one of the most complete visions of the Brazilian popular art. Its collection is the result of a 40 year research by the designer Jacques Van de Beuque and displays a large variety of works by more than 200 artists from many different parts of the country, creating an authentic anthropological window to the roots of the Brazilian culture.
- Along the way back toward the hotel, you will stop to visit Oscar Niemeyer´s first house built in 1953 for him and his family. Today the architect lives on the top floor of the oldest apartment on Copacabana and the public can visit his previous home. The house is bolstered in green, but the architecture stayed untouched. The curves, signatures of Niemeyer's work are like a delicate poem in this green setting and the huge glass windows lift the border between interior and exterior.

- Today you will go on a full day tour of nearby Petropolis.
- Stop at the Imperial Museum which served as the summer residence of the imperial family during the 19th century. You can view various historical pieces such as the scepter and crown of Emperor Don Pedro II, historical documents, imperial jewelry and the priceless pieces of art that belonged to the imperial family.
- You will also visit the Crystal Palace, which was built in France in cast iron pre-molded structure upon the Conde D'Eu at Princess Isabel's request, and is used today for concerts and theatrical presentations.
- The day's last stop will be the São Pedro de Alcântara Neo Gothic Cathedral, a French neogothic building dating back to 1884. Within the confines of the Imperial Chapel visitors can view the resting place of the remains of Don Pedro II, Dona Teresa Cristina, Conde D'Eu, and Princess Isabel.
- Lunch at Leopoldina Restaurant, housed inside one of the most beautiful palaces is included in the tour.

- Embratur and the Oscar Niemeyer Foundation have decided to showcase the works of Oscar Niemeyer in an elaborate tour chronicling the work of the world-renowned architect. The tour reviews 11 of Niemeyer's masterpieces in the nearby city of Niterói including the Museum of Contemporary Art and others such as the Roberto Silveira Memorial Center, Catholic Cathedral, Batista of Niterói Church, Oscar Niemeyer Foundation Building, Popular Theater and Hidroviária Station. The tour also provides insight regarding Niemeyer's personal history and creative development.
- The main attraction of the Museum of Contemporary Art is the actual building itself; which was designed by world-renowned architect Oscar Niemeyer. Besides the vast collection of 600 works of art the museum also possesses an unequalled view of Rio de Janeiro.
- The tour also includes a visit to the Monasterio de Sao Bento, Flamengo Gardens and lunch at the Confeitaria Colombo. A living portrait of the Belle Époque in Rio and one of the city's gourmet landmarks, it still retains much of its Art Nouveau charm dating back to the beginning of the century.
- Its famous Belgian mirrors in hardwood frames and rosewood showcases, Italian marble benches, ornate light fixtures, glossy floors and period furniture have been preserved just as they were, and have been admired by many famous individuals who helped write the history of Brazil and helped make the Confeitaria Colombo a major downtown attraction.

- This morning, you will be transferred to the airport for flight to Belo Horizonte.
- Upon arrival, go on a panoramic tour of Belo Horizonte towards Pampulha Lake, a district where you can see the first works by the architect Niemeyer, landscape projects by Burle Marx and paintings by Portinari. This district is looked upon as an early example of contemporary architecture in Brazil, which reached its climax in Brasilia. Visit the Church of Saint Francis of Assisi, Museum of Art and the Soccer Stadium.
- After the tour, you will be transferred to your accommodations at Ouro Minas Palace. One of the few five star hotels in Belo Horizonte, the Ouro Minas Palace is considered one of the best hotels in the country because of its elegance, service, and attention to detail. - Enjoy the day visiting the historical colonial towns of Ouro Preto and Mariana where you will get the opportunity to visit the Church of St. Francis of Assisi, Museum of the School of Mines and Church of Our Lady of the Pilar. The enchanted city, founded in 1696, was, for a short time the capital of State of Minas Gerais. It was originally called Royal Village of Our Lady of Carmel. In 1745 it received its present name, which was in honor of Queen Maria Ana. A walk down its picturesque streets allows you to see houses which date from the beginning of the XVIII century.

- This morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to São Paulo. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your accommodations at the Fasano Hotel.

- Today you will go on a full day tour of the São Paulo architecture and art scene. The tour features Vilanova Artigas and Oscar Niemeyer and includes the College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Edificio Louveiras, Parque do Ibirapuera and Edificio Copan.

- São Paulo / Brasilia / São Paulo
- This morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Brasilia.
- Today you will visit Our Lady of Fatima Church, designed by Oscar Niemeyer and the residential superblock 308, landscaped by Burle Marx. Also visit Saint John Bosco Sanctuary, the TV Tower, Burti Square and the Army Headquarters.
- After lunch, visit the JK Memorial, Metropolitan Cathedral, Itamaraty Palace and Alvorada Palace.
- After the tour, return to the airport for your flight back to São Paulo.

- São Paulo / Iguaçu Falls
- This morning, you will be transferred to the airport for your flight to Iguaçu Falls. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your accommodations at Das Cataratas Hotel.
- The Hotel das Cataratas is located in the center of the Iguaçu National Park, surrounded by tropical nature alongside the famous Iguaçu Falls. This charming 195 bedroom colonial-style hotel, the only hotel inside the Brazilian National Park, is a unique spot for those wishing to experience the magnificent spectacle of the Iguaçu Falls.

- Iguaçu Falls
- This morning, your tour begins at the Iguaçu National Park. Stroll the trail descending the canyon that offers a panoramic view of the more than 240 falls. Take the glass elevator up the cliff face for an exquisite view from the upper deck. The Iguaçu National Park along with its "sister" park in Argentina form the most significant remaining rainforest in the southern cone of South America which along with the waterfalls has been declared a National Heritage Site by UNESCO. The tour starts from the hotel.
- After lunch, visit the falls by boat. The trip begins within the National Park on the Brazilian side where visitors take seats in an open wagon driven through the forest where they can observe birds, animals and exotic vegetation all while accompanied by a specialized guide. At the end of the 2 km ride, continue on foot to the margin of the Iguaçu River to take a specially prepared motor boat for an exciting and unforgettable trip. Passengers are taken as close as possible to the water falls, where they can hear the thunderous roar of the walls of water, and get wet from the mist of the falls.
